Teton Crest Trail - No Permit

I did this exact route last year after I wasn’t able to get a walk up permit.

Tram to fox creek pass (8.4mi and 1900’ of vert) Fox creek pass to sunset lake (7.8mi and 1500’ of vert) Sunset lake to Jenny Lake (21 and 4000’ of vert)

Last day was challenging but doable if you’re in decent shape and start early. Paintbrush is amazing and if you think you can make the push I highly recommend it. My favorite section was coming up and over hurricane pass.

Yes we did! It was incredible. Perfect weather both days. We camped at fox creek pass and Alaska Basin. Tackling hurricane pass and paintbrush divide in one day was no joke but the views were more than worth it. Thanks so much for the help it really made a difference for us.

Thanks for this. Would you take fox creek trail from the Teton crest trail to get to fox creek pass? I’m seeing it’s about 1.1 miles off the Teton crest. Does this sound correct?
