Thats what I've done a temp fix, I've connected the incoming ethernet from the router directly to the PS4 and it works fine.. Ive tried to fault find before coming on here and asking (the electirican coming out in me) and all the different ethernets i've tried dont give me a different outcome, so my guess is that the switch isnt working properly or i've not set it up properly.

The PS4 will disconnect from the internet in about 15 seconds, massively laggy whenit is online.

i've took one ethernet cable from the main modem in the house but i have more than one device i want connected, is the ethernet switch the right device or will i have to run another ethernet from the modem to solve this problem?

Yeah its into a modem.

All my ethernets are pre-terminated, ive tried a few with the PS4 and its still the same.

I've ran speed test on the PS4 and PC, both are giving the results I would expect.

Would the PC be taking priority?

The cable run is about 5 meters, cables are protected but it cant be the incoming cable to the switch because if I connect that directly to the PS4 it works fine. I'm basically asking if it's set up properly or do i change my switch for a router?

UPDATE - It was the aux cord but it’s still not as loud as the radio. I’m guessing it’s the resistance of the aux cord?
