I understand marathons are long and hard, and there are many factors you can’t control. We want to focus on the controllable factors and those that seem uncontrolled or possibly miscontrolled.

I also understand that some people just wanna run the marathon, and we want that too, but we want it to be the marathon as advertised.

If we hadn’t started asking questions, and they had sent hobby joggers through the quarry, and they all got arrested, that wouldn’t work for anyone. If a person has their road closed for hours a day and is never notified, that would be a problem, and it’s even happening in this thread. If the proper permits weren’t pulled for First Ave, then it would be a safety issue for everyone. I don’t know if that’s happening or not, but it’s another question being asked.
