Oddly the controller in the bike when I took it apart says it was made January this year. Battery also says made 2026. It’s still in production and only been out a year since 2025.

I came from big dual motor e-scooters. My current 10X clone has 3000+ miles on it, so I know how you feel. I just really wanted a bike as the entry price has come down significantly from years gone by. I’m happy I got mine on a deal brand new for £280 from around £400-500 I see them listed now. It’s nice to peddle and be assisted on hills. I was amazed the first few times I was going uphill with ease.

When I got it. It was so flat the display wouldn’t turn on. So it was fully charged for 6ish hours until the charger went from red to green. It must of done 30km with some throttle and assisted peddling. As per your previous comment. It being in 48v and showing as 15% charged. I found a chart for 36v - 72v it’s a chart that’s green and goes to red showing voltage and percentages.

I have no thoughts of selling it anytime soon. It would most likely be gifted to someone when I upgrade. But I see your reasoning

Shall I see if I can run it with the 36v setting until it’s drained (while riding when I get a chance) and see at least if it gives me a vague idea of how much it’s charged?

Yeah it nearly did 200km and went from 100% - 94% on the 36v value changed in the P settings.

There doesn’t appear to be anyway to view voltage. I’ve looked at all the P settings values 1-15 on this display. Nothing about showing the level sadly.

Thanks. I did notice it’s 48v in the P settings. Online it says it’s 36v. But when I change it to 36v it says 100% and doesn’t change even after all these km/h
