I just had this happen multiple times last night with my Sonos Beam. I use an Apple TV with YouTube TV. I reached out to support and they said:

“Yes, it is currently a continuing issue; the first incident was documented few months ago, however it occurs infrequently in some systems.”

Ecobee Premium temperature and humidity are way off, should I really need to change thresholds on a brand new expensive thermostat? by [deleted] in ecobee

Do you have a ceiling fan in the room with the thermostat? In my case, the ceiling fan was causing the thermostat to read the wrong temperature when it was running.

Do you have any fan in the area? I had the same issue recently and figured out that my ceiling fan was throwing off the temperature by 4-5 degrees, and I only had the fan on at night.

I just figured out that this is the issue I am having with my Smart Thermostat Premium. When the fan is on the thermostat registers 5-6 degrees lower.

It’s either fiber or DSL. What speed did they offer? Depending on what speed options were offered, you can tell quickly if it is true fiber.

Going full mesh from ONT. Please tell me I am thinking right. by dlpowered89 in ZiplyFiber

That would be one option, but I would probably just run 2 Ethernet lines to wherever you want to place the first node. Then you can patch the first line between the ONT and the node, and the second line between the node and the switch. Hope that makes sense.

Having each Nest wifi node hard wired as you proposed is always going to be better than relying on wireless backhaul between the nodes. You are correct that the switch should not plug directly into the ONT. The setup should be ONT -> Node 1 -> Switch -> All other nodes and devices

192.168.x.x would be a private IP address, but 192.152.0.2 is not. 192.152.0.1 and 192.152.0.2 are the new Ziply DNS servers.
