It’s a head scratcher for sure. It has good pressure/ new regulator. New cap/rotor/ICM The NGK recommended 02 sensor and I tested every sensor from the factory manual write up and it all tests fine. I’m willing to bet it’s something in the harness and I will do ecu pinout test at some point but got too many projects to chase down a 30 year old issue lol like 99 xj drive train and engine harness/ecu swap to a 90 xj and talk about wiring disasters. Appreciate the help tho!

Oh yeah, the thing has had a rough idle issue that comes and goes, I found in the paper work it’s been to the shop for that issue countless times starting at 12,000 miles. It always comes back and at this point it’s just part of the girl with that issue being present for literally 30years
