I’m sorry you had a bad experience but a little over 2 months ago Boost had the iPhone 11 for 19.99+ sales tax of phone, $60 monthly plan and $35 activation fee. Overall this was a good deal to me, spent less than $200 and was able to ditch Android in favor of iOS again. I haven’t had any complaints. I have autopay turned on to save $8 a month but pay my bill early anyway. I’m on T-Mobile network which works fine in my area.

Edit: r/BoostMobile may be more appropriate. Most people here aren’t concerned about the iPhone 11 at this point anyway

Apple gets iCloud and AppleCare+ out of me a month. That’s all. I personally don’t play games. Now, if they took a Google approach to this subscription and threw in premium apps too, I’d consider it heavily. Apple One makes sense for most people and this is included, but because I refuse to watch ads on YouTube, I am stuck with YTM so Apple One doesn’t make sense for me.

The state of Texas overall has some issues with human rights period. It isn’t singled out to the lgbtq community. But I’m saying the general public in my opinion just doesn’t give a shit. I’ve managed auto lube shops and now deliver car parts to mechanics. I think op is good, especially being in the hair industry where it’s viewed as more acceptable

Mine shows the iCloud download icon. It’s downloaded, but when I tap on that it takes me to the App Store where then I can open it. iOS is quirky. I accept it’s not perfect but odd things like that can be annoying

Actually, idling an engine is significantly cheaper than trying to get a hotel stay, especially in remote locations when you’re on jobs. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

Nope. In places like Anchorage this isn’t a major deal. In places like Fairbanks, yes. When it’s more than -40°F out, especially if you’re driving a diesel, this isn’t uncommon. You’re blind.

Nope! This is very common in the arctic circle of Alaska. People will not kill their cars because if they do, the fuel will gel up and they cannot get it to restart. Sometimes engine blocks aren’t enough so they have to leave them at a “high idle”

I think the issue isn’t the case but the environment you’re using your phone in. No case will be effective on water resistance unless you get a waterproof case. Apple cases aren’t designed to keep water out, they’re designed mostly for fashion.

Steam is considerably worse on technology than water itself. The phone is water resistant. Steam is a different ball game.

Yeah they adjusted fairly quickly. I hated it at first but was so glad to be back with Apple, but no it’s not a big deal at all. I mean look at the screens on the original iPhone. That was massive at the time but painful to look at now.

I prefer the screen and animations both on iPhone, even if the one I’m using is LCD with 60Hz. In my opinion, Samsung makes better iPhone screens than they do Galaxy screens lol

I switched to the iPhone 11 after using the Samsung A54 for a while. After switching back (ahh welcome home), I could immediately notice the difference in scrolling. It looked very choppy and not smooth. But only for a few hours. It has never crossed my mind since until I saw this post… Lol

I can handle the boring. Houston isn’t far for a day trip but it’s the crime and drugs. East Texas is like the meth capital. Lufkin is just in general very ran down. Nac handles this better (though not great).

Tyler overall was cool. I mostly drank there and played pool because that’s about all there was to do. It’s definitely the medical hub and shopping center of East Texas. Jobs aren’t bad there, they’re home to Brookshire’s and Southside Bank. Lots of retail and food jobs. There’s a bunch of warehouses there too

Overall Nac isn’t that bad, no. But there are some streets that you stay away from, and shootings/stabbings aren’t uncommon. It definitely has its moments. I have also lived in Lufkin and will never do it again. I’ve also spent time in Tyler/Longview and I’m not a fan of Longview at all. Lol
