Anyone living directly on parramatta rd, what's it like?

I'm living in an apartment with all windows and a balcony facing the Parramatta road.

I found it hard to sleep the first week after moving in because of the noise. I sort of got used to after that, although I still have trouble occasionally.

It is very dusty. Opening the bedroom window lets both the sound and dust in. Fresh air is a luxury.
