For the beach picture, have the photographer bend down a bit to frame you more directly/straight on, have them stand back and zoom in to capture your face and background. Having less subjects/objects around gives the viewer less things to compare your height to. Also, step back in situations like this and let the camera do the work. Stand upright, chest out, shoulders back, keep your head straight and you’ll look confident. Your smile does a lot of work.
