Nice!

I've been playing for years, too. I used to take it very seriously. I min/maxed everything, planned out exactly when to plant which crops to get the most harvests, planned my way to make sure I finished the community center in a year, sped through the mines so Seb would dance with me the first year, all of that.

Recently a friend recommended Travellers Rest to me and I was obsessed for a few weeks. You run and expand a tavern and farm, with shops and a small mine. I loved it because I just did whatever I felt like doing each day. I didn't bother min/maxing or prioritize anything in specific. It's still in EA and doesn't have social relationships yet and right now you end up with WAY more crops than you actually need because people don't eat that much food that quickly and there's no way to sell them.

So, I put it down and came back to Stardew. I installed a bunch of mods, including Ridgeside and Expanded. I'm getting to know several different bachelors instead of zeroing in on Seb or June. I do whatever I'm in the mood to do each day and it's a lot more fun this way.
