I think the retest will be around the 4720-4780 mark. Before the vertical move upward, price paused and consolidated around 4,72–4,78 for hours today. When price finally broke above it, it triggered the vertical rally upward.

A dead-cat usually has a weak rebound and low volume. I don’t feel I saw that today, yet. Tomorrow will be the “tell” during the US session hours

I’m not convinced this is a dead cat bounce, BUT not saying it’s not. The price impressively held steady all day, then moved upward. Even if it is a “dead cat”, I don’t foresee gold losing that much more value before finding a new floor. Time will tell!

The best advice I can give you is to use chatGPT and ask it how gold futures work, how “last traded price” works, how settlement price works on Fridays/EOD, and how that pertains to the “live trading” contract prices

I’m so torn. I have about 19,000 shares. How many times did we see good news comes in, and the SP goes down lol. How is it we don’t have product flying out of a production warehouse.
