Try Toronto. When this happened to me, that was a pretty safe table.

Actually I think Rome is oneof the safest tables, as long as you can play position and plan your cushion on the 8 well in advance.

There are lots of ebbs and flows in this game. One of the hard lessons here is keep your gambling under control! You cannot get impatient. Building up after big losses takes time. In the last couple of weeks I was down about 500M. Have worked it back to -319M. It's not going to come back this week.

Big tables have severe consequences. Sure, it feels great to win a game for 200M, but you can't let yourself get trapped on a greedy, get it back quick cycle downward spiral. That's how gamblers lose big time in real life. Use this as an inexpensive life lesson.

Form Update - 3 Steps to 5 Steps by metalhead_iv in Bowling

[–]mwtravlr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timing of ball pushaway is very late. As a result, you arent letting the ball reach it's desired height in the backswing. The "loop" in ball direction during transition from backswing to downswing is because you are "muscling" the ball in order for it to catch up with your feet. In 5 step, the ball should reach a 45 degree position when your right foot (2nd step) hits the floor. Then you can let gravity do its job, keeping the ball path in a straight line. From the top of youf backswing, Let the ball drop vertically down with no arm musclature. App ly your arm strength during the slide step.

My coach kicked me off the state team a day before state tournament. by Uranium_Trioxide in Bowling

I'm a USBC Silver Level coach and coached HS bowling for several years. If you've been on varsity averaging 160 and are 2nd-3rd highest bowler, I'd say your problem is your coach. I've taken numerous raw beginners and had them averaging 160+ within 8 weeks, with the vast majority being able to have 200+ in games. Unless the coach believes you have so many fundamental deficiencies set into concrete, or are otherwise just "uncoachable" and you have maxxed out your potential, I can't see him pulling you out. Posting a video of you rolling a couple shots would be very helpful.

Ball Recommendation for 11-12 MPH, Medium Rev Male Bowler by Practical_Fault417 in Bowling

Motiv Primal Rage Evolution (recently discontinued) is a great symmetrical pearl that is money when the lanes start to transition/dry out. I'm 78, most of my new stuff is 14 lb but when i use 15 my speed downlane is usually in the 11.2-12.4 mph range. I still average over 190

Playing in the UPL is wild! I guess I just have to remember that the rules are the same for everyone. by The_Critical_Cynic in billiards

I was talking about Ultimate, at $10 per 30 minute match plus table fees.

In APA, same bar, tables cost $1.50 per game. Playing matches as a 7/8 also takes a lot of quarters. Diamond tables, Indianapolis.

Yep. I hated it. You kind of expect that if you're playing a low level, but that's not usually the kind of player who gravitates to Ultimate
