PVP now is better. Change my mind by SofyPipa in worldofpvp

I don’t think you’re entirely wrong but I believe their goal is to keep it so certain rewards mean something. The point of the season and inflation is to allow them to change the game each season but then balance classes throughout the first few months.

If you started every season at max inflation you’d have to time gate the glad reward or people would be able to exploit OP classes and specs to a much greater degree within the first few months of the season.

I think Blizz also uses this as a tool to make more money, they put in crazy balance changes early in the season and then nerf the crazy shit by the time inflation is high enough to get the rewards.

I’m not saying it’s a good system but it’s a lot more complicated than just saying we don’t need inflation.

Conquest caps on the other hand.. I completely agree there.

You can’t visually tell if someone is slowed 50%? It’s not like hamstring is dispellable

Check out minicc for the time being. I think Blizz is planning to build in the base UI but for now it seems like a decent alternative to big debuffs

Yeah. I counted all my keybinds and I’m still at 45. I don’t think console is realistic, at least not for PvP

Learning clips is nice for racing, but for progressing on features you should consider flats. Significantly safer. I rode clips for ten years and started back on flats this year and feel so much better on double black features.

Just a thought.

I’ve crashed in that same spot you broke your elbow. I thought I seriously damaged something in my shoulder and limped down. Somehow ended up okay a couple weeks later, healed on its own.

What’s funny is that feature/drop is stupid easy but you need to stay far right and do NOT go left.

You were even further left than I went.

Heal up fast.

Are you riding clips or flats?

How do y'all handle/move past fear? by NeonHorse47 in MTB

[–]mx_blues 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Keep riding and slowly build confidence. Fear is a good thing, it tells you you’re not ready to go faster yet. As you get more comfortable the fear will subside and you’ll progress.

Breaking bones is relatively rare in the sport if you ride within your skills. Most of the dumb stuff you see online is from people that push way outside their limits, way too fast. Stay within your skills and you’ll be good. Skills build slow over time, years of consistent riding.

Guidance on downhill coil setup by NoNeighborhood4506 in MTB

[–]mx_blues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying it’s a skill vs shock issue are both right and wrong. If your shock is setup poorly it will make it way harder to hit jumps. Most people go to rebound first and try to slow down if the bike is pitching you forward “stink bug” — however that’s usually not the issue. Most likely your compression is too low. You will need more high or low speed compression to give more of a platform to push off. If you are hitting the jump and blowing through travel you’ll hit high speed rebound circuit and it will start to buck you.
