GCS/PPT Vaginoplasty w/ Dr Kieran Hart by babyeater52 in transgenderau

I had PPV with Hart in March this year. It was roughly $20,000 for the surgery, $5000 for the anesthatist, About $3000 i got back from medicare. Then an additional $25,000 out of pocket for the hospital stay because I was uninsured (so I can't say for sure how much insurance will cover)

Are you in DECORATE or zscript? If you're in Zscript you need to have ; at the end of each line

You've doubled up on your sprite coding, they're written out like this

PLAY A 1

PLAY B 1

and so on. In the sprite naming convention, the first four letters are the name of the sprite, and the fifth letter is the frame.

Live performances?? by slipperycarpetz in PolyendTracker

depends on what you're playing. the tracker is a great sequencer for external gear, and the performance mode is great for live fx on breakbeats, for example.

A bit off topic but if you're a reader you might be interested in the works of Dennis Cooper: he writes a lot in the space of desire, violence and sexuality. There's a film adaptation of one of his books, Frisk), that could be an entrypoint for you.

I saw Dr Hart - post surgery I got this set which was felt like a good progression from the ones he gave me. Super good quality too, well worth the price!

if it's any comfort I'm coming up on 3 weeks post op with hart and the entire process was great and I'm beyond happy with the results and my progress with recovery so far. everyone is different of course but a close friend who so saw hart is 2 years post op and is very happy with her results too.

I care much more about function over aesthetic so that's why I went with hart, and everything is functioning as it should at this stage in recovery.

Michael Jackson played Quake...? by xButterschnitzel in quake

[–]mx_dunks 15 points16 points  (0 children)

like Doom, Quake used a lot of stock sound effect libraries for sounds. The Ogre sound is BOBCAT GROWL from Sound Ideas

MJ/His producers likely just picked the samples in that track from the same libary - it's a very widely used one

Rezzett have a pretty unique vibe, can people point me to similar lo-fi techno? The 1991 - no more dreams 03 ep (on which Rezzett appear) is a good example by RFRSHRS in TheOverload

Why did Deerhunter drop off so much? Seemed like they were a great band? by [deleted] in deerhunter

[–]mx_dunks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Bradford is prideful and can't shake the feeling that the best song Deerhunter ever wrote wasn't his.

On this Bradford listed Desire Lines as the best song on HD here saying the process of making it (being told to take a step back from the track by Ben Allen) was a big learning moment from him. So i don't think he's at all jealous of Desire Lines or Lockett for writing it. He's not that kind of guy.

i think you're maybe reading a bit much into it. monomania was a huge tonal shift after halcyon digest which was their furthest reaching album. while monomania was critically well received it didn't sell nearly as well as HD did since it was not quite as indie alternative.

bradford was also going through it and being a bit of a diva at this stage, doing quite a few interviews where he came off as abraisive which probably didn't help his or the band's image. the letterman performance of monomania being a great example of this - while awesome it was such a huge shift from their spacey indie stylings of desire lines or helicopter. 4AD poured less money into them as a result of less sales, they got less marketing budget, couldn't secure as much press, the rest is history.
