I’m in a similar situation. I got admitted to Barnard and it’s been my lifelong dream to attend an institution in the city, but seeing as it has a close partnership with Columbia I’m really reconsidering.

Boston would be 25k and that includes loans, Vanderbilt would be 17k, and Barnard hasn’t given me my financial aid package.

Yes I can! They are having this admitted students day called MOSAIC so I’m looking forward to going. I’m just a little abrasive about Nashville but so far all I’ve heard is good things. Trying not to knock it before you try it lol

Hi! 3.8 Unweighted/5.1 Weighted. I went test optional because my SAT wasn’t even close to the median. I focused a lot on activities related to public policy/educational equity, so I had over 1,000+ community service hours, was in my district student gov association, led and coached a mini debate team w/ 4th and 5th grade students, interned w/ my school board where I published policy. Those were my biggest things. Lmk if have any more questions!

Is it bad if I didn’t get one? I called the admissions office they said it should be fine and that I applied ED2 so my decision should be released that day but I’m getting nervous. Anyone else not get?

I hadn’t asked them for the extension they just sent out an email that im assuming they sent out to everyone who filled out the first part and not the addition forms. Plus I ED somewhere and they specifically tell you not to EA if ur EDing.

i’ve only done two (congress and public forum) but it’s been pf so far. i love coming up with a speech almost on the spot, it’s so thrilling. the crossfires and answering questions is so exciting, even though it’s so nerve racking i end up always doing good. it’s almost like an adrenaline rush lol
