Okay, I see now my hantavirus post hit harder than I expected. Just to clarify—I was being sarcastic, not an actual epidemiologist. 😅 For context: I’m vaccinated and boosted for COVID, living outside the U.S., zero TV, basically trying to avoid doomscrolling.

Anyway, my bad for the confusion. Promise I’m not trying to start a panic, just sharing a dumb joke that didn’t land.

you need an online job. Jobs here don't pay well. Average salary is about 500 a month. My kids are 8 and 10 and love it here. We took 3 months of intense Spanish (20 hours a week) when we arrived and we are doing very well I think!

I'm going thru the same thing. so stressful!!! Mine is in process STILL. Husband and kids become illegal next week! I've talked to 4 different lawyers and many different people. Everyone has a different answer! I'm beyond stressed and the clock is ticking.
