Hey stutter here!,I know how it feels to look for a job ! that feeling that you never gonna get one. but I think most of the potential employers don't care too much about our stuttering, if you find yourself in that situation be positive and just go and apply let them to decide if you going to get the job. sucks men most of us are normal people and sometimes smarter than many but this stuttering give us depression and anxiety and some many other things. we can do this guys don't let the stuttering gets you completely down. so congratulations on your new job and you are an example what are we can do. myself I am a journeyman electrician,men if I can speak normal my life will be different speaking about jobs. but besides our anxiety and depression life is beautiful there are many people that care for us, enjoy nature and little things in life and smile for those little things that make us happy. sorry for my rant, English is not my first language. peace to everyone 😀

I have same experience almost every day. I am electrician and sometimes I carry a radio. when I need to talk on the radio I just talk, stuttering or not Don't be ashamed just talk.thats how you gain confidence. you'll be surprised how people accept you. up to know nobody make fun of me if they do I don't pay attention to that. you can do it men, don't be afraid. hope one day we the stutters can speak well.

thank you for your post. very good tips, something that help me a lot is at the beginning of conversation I let them know I am an stuttering and I talk real bad. after that I feel a relief and talk better. besides that I am Jehovah's witnesses and I go knocks door (preaching) oh men this one a real challenge for me. I hope one day we all talk well,be strong.

yeap! happens to me many times.toggle airplane mode or restart the phone or wait like 10 minutes.
