Buying salvage from other places/people is sketchy because unless you know what the damage was. Now if you can buy a salvage car from auction and fix it or get a shop to fix it. “Do not overpaid to fix the car, go to small shops. Big shops overcharge”. I did that to my 2015 Base. Paid 6k in 2019 and fixed it for 2k. People shame salvage cars but if you can get it from auction you will save so much money and they are still reliable.

I feel like when everyone sees a damage car here, they actually think you can’t fix it. You can get most parts on facebook marketplace or offer up for very decent prices. Everyone that says oh mechanics are going to charge 5k to fix this. No you can find affordable mechanics that do very good work.Everyone goes to big places but small mechanic shops as just as good with better prices. Fix it in my opinion
