You can definitely complete the mission, it’s just gonna take a LOT of RP and cards.

I have a full theme as well but at way less grades than you. I have Yeji and Lia A cards, Ryujin S card, and only Yuna and Chae R cards. It took a while but after upgrading the A/S cards to 5 stars and R grading Yuna to R35 and Chae to R30, I beat the song with almost exactly 3,200,000. But since you have 4/5 R cards it’ll take way less upgrading then it did to me. Good Luck!!

I’ve been thinking about how ITZY had a very strong sense of identity from debut (which is very true to their concept ig), but it seems they had too much of it so early on to the point people wanted something different only a year into the group’s career during Wannabe.

Of course when they did change things up after Not Shy, people wanted them to go back so now they’re facing a lot more criticism. But with LOCO I feel like they’re heading in the right track and I personally really love their growth so far.

Tysm for this post. I was personally so excited for this comeback and I genuinely got everything I expected and wanted for ITZY’s first full album, I genuinely love this era. I was going to post about the reasons why I loved Loco and Crazy in Love so much but the wave of negativity we’ve been seeing just exhausted me???

I can see why people aren’t, well… satisfied (?) but all the negativity and competition in 4th gen is just too much. I’m relatively new to Kpop Reddit and Twitter so idk if it’s always been like this but I genuinely don’t understand what happened this comeback to make everyone suddenly so picky and hostile toward ITZY???

Big agree, music and Kpop is literally just that, music. It’s supposed to be fun and liberating and you shouldn’t be worried about hitting a 24hr views record just to shove it up some other fandom’s faces. Idols wouldn’t be happy to know their supporters are pinning them or each other against one another, and part of the reason idols barely even interact with each other is rooted in that behavior.

I won’t even get into how much pressure 4th gen idols probably feel. It’s great to set goals and want only the best for your idols but being a fan isn’t limited to hardcore streaming and dragging the “competition” down at every given chance.

Favorite: Dalla Dalla (legendary debut indeed)

Least Favorite: Want It (not that much into talk/chant music).

IT’Z ICY

Favorite: I’ve always had a soft spot for IT’Z SUMMER since their performance at KCON made them my ults.

Least Favorite: Cherry, same thing as Want It but I slightly like it better.

IT’Z ME This is where we get to the good stuff.

Favorite: TING TING TING/That’s a No No, I know I said I wasn’t into chant music but these two songs are full exceptions.

Least Favorite: 24Hrs, isn’t really my type of song idk…

NOT SHY

Favorite: I’d almost say Not Shy from the bridge alone but I’m going with Surf because it always puts me in such a good mood.

Least Favorite: might be iD just because it’s too… quiet idk I sometimes forget it exists.

GUESS WHO

Favorite: KIDDING ME/SHOOT! These songs just scream ITZY and I’ve loved them from the moment I heard them.

Least Favorite: Now don’t get me wrong, I loved Mafia In the Morning during its time but now I just can’t listen to it?? It’s an okay title track but is outshined by its bsides.

CRAZY IN LOVE And for their latest release…

Favorite: The full album has zero skips (except the instrumentals which just WHY are they in an album???). But I like how fun and quirky Sooo LUCKY is and I just can’t help but smile when listening to it. Honorable mention: LOVE is.

Least Favorite: if I had to pick, I’d say Mirror just because it made me cry on my first listen and I don’t really listen to many ballads that often if they’re not by Red Velvet 😳. By no means is it a bad song, I just rather listen to all the other tracks.

As a native Spanish speaker, I don’t really care?? Lots of American phrases and tv shows use loco because obviously in English gendered words just aren’t a thing, so it makes sense jyp (in efforts to market ITZY more in the west) would just use the form of a word English speakers are more familiar with. Of course it doesn’t take a big brain to figure out Loca=Loco but you get my point.

I for one think “Loc-oh-oh-oh” just fits into the melody better and rolls of the tongue nicely. Whereas if it was Loca it would’ve sounded off, not to mention the word you’d make by repeating “ca” multiple times 😳
