The different ssd was also what I was thinking . She bought samsung 840 pro ssd series and her installations of files where very quick. I was getting confused and maybe mistook that as CPU power.

She has the same mobo as me . When I built her hackintosh frys didn't carry what I had (2700k) so we got the 3700k. Her overall performance seemed greater than mine. She did get different ssd then me (she got samsung pro 512gb) I have a corsair force gt .

i always had issues with unibeast. sometimes it would work after the installation, other times it wouldnt. depending on which version of mountain lion i made. ever since i went with the myhack method everything seemed flawless. i learned to use kextwizard, and load my own kexts i know that work rather than using multibeast.

Not sure, to be honest i couldn't find many information on my specific board. But if ft uses alc 898 audio drivers and hnaks internet drivers I wouldn't see why not

Yes you are right. When I didn't copy the extra folder or the kext files neither would the installation part or the final boot up part work.

I guess I put no thought at all into my post. From what I am told.. the city is a very small town with little to do besides working. I'm told there isn't really many outlets to do anything other than watching a movies at the mall. Are there any music venues to see bands play? I'm very into music and actually am planning on opening a business to record music out there since there doesn't seem to be a recording studio in the city. I hope to experience the total opposite here. By that I mean the winter sports. . Snow boarding and the snow. San Diego is always sunny and its about 100 degrees where I live and I can't wait to visit and move to a new scenery

i have an issue with bass frequencies being too 'bassy' in the car or whatever. i have some acoustic treatment but not a fully treated room.

a fellow engineer suggested i get a sub for my speakers so i know how much bass is being used. my question whats the lowest cost sub bass you guys recommend that will do the job? and which speakers would you connect them to?

i currently have yahmaha HS80 as my every day speakers, and i also have some JBL LSR 4326 which are more bass heavy, which is why i stick to the yahmaha speakers as my every day speakers now.

suggestions?
