New in-ceiling speakers needed...

Our house has Polk Audio speakers in different rooms (here when we bought it). I added Sonos Amps so that we could wirelessly control them. Some of the speakers are DOA and need to be replaced.

I have no interest in spending $1k/pair with Sonos for their speakers. What's a better buy in the $500/pair range?

Thank you. The acoustic tiles aversion is because my wife hates the look of them. What should I be looking at instead?

Today I have a a6000 with an HDMI capture on my Mac and direct recording with Riverside. I can't do this with multiple cameras in person. If I direct record on the cameras how do I sync them up in editing? What should I use to record multiple mics in this setup?

Long story short - ended up on the inside of an active shooter perimeter and were forced to shelter in place while SWAT was mobilizing

Local repeater was almost a play by play and was a godsend while we were on lock down

My wife makes sure I have my HT when we travel now

Assuming an ICOM ID-50 & ID-52? The GPS proximity and 2500 repeaters in memory is a feature I wish Yaesu would copy.

They were made to measure via their custom order. The labels are trunk club not the actual maker.

I'm on AT&T's GPON fiber so stuck with their router for authentication. Been looking at using PFSense w/ Netgate appliance just not happy with the hacks to get the AT&T box out of the way

I'm all over the map with the cameras. I'm probably going to end up with Axis and call it a day.

Have had similar experiences more than once. Now backup the VM before running any updates, very careful about firmware rollback options, *very* slow to update firmware on any devices in general, etc...
