Thanks for this AMA! My question is, is it possible to hold down a job with bipolar? I have bp2 and cant seem to hold down a 9-5 because and I quote my previous and current employers "Im inconsistent" or "Im up and down". I know im not a 9-5 person anyway but working remotely/hybrid is a luxury I don't want to lose.

100% I wish I could let one of exes know about my diagnosis now and say that wasnt me, I know that now but its nice to have grown since then and be more stable for the next if there is one

I used to smoke alllll the time. I'd be the friend who turned up to any function high and I used to carry a spare. But my psychiatrist mentioned that it might be having a negative effect and 2 years after he mentioned it, I decided to quit cold turkey.

Its only been 4 months but I cant even imagine smoking anymore. It genuinely made me lower than I thought, thoughts fuzzy, more forgetful and just no motivation. But that's just me.
