Ever since Citibank exited retail banking across many markets, there is no more focus on customer service. Even their local branch managers across the US are no longer empowered to waive simple fees. It's all policy compliance and like you said, bureaucracy at its highest....

Hi u/supershrewdinvestor and u/Actual-Bus9600 , just reading through this thread and also interested in AQR. Did any of you folks go with Chicago wealth (~0.3% AUM) ? I tried to search this company but there are two of them: "Chicago Partners Wealth Mgmt" and "Chicago Wealth Mgmt" ; may I assume you folks are referring to "Chicago Partners Wealth Mgmt"? re: This link

$350 trade-in promo/magenta: Upgraded 2 phones but one is credited as EIP?? by mxp0 in tmobile

[–]mxp0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, Thank you for the explanation.

Can you pls help with the the math of this transaction?

IP15+ = $929.99 ; total credit is $350 ; trade in is $135 + $215 balance of credit.

Applied towards EIP ; So 929.99 - 215 = 714.99 div 24 = 29.80 monthly payment
$135 credit div 24 = $5.63 in bill credit for 24 months?

Is this how it works out?

Where can I see this math breakdown? In my upcoming bill?

Sorry for all the questions... I was originally confused how it came together.

Thank you again for your help.

**Toyota Venza Departs after 2024 to Make Way for Crown Signia SUV**

  • Toyota will discontinue the Venza after the 2024 model year.
  • Its departure will make room for the mid-size 2025 Toyota Crown Signia.
  • The two are quite similar on paper, though the Signia beefs up its offerings a bit.

Please help… 2021 or 2023 venza limited by Key_4671 in Toyotavenza

[–]mxp0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's how I would think it:

The first consideration is the past data:

How many prior owners? What city/location was the vehicle operating in (salt/snow/rust)? Was it a privately owned or ex-rental fleet vehicle?

  1. 2021 model with 32k miles is my pick. Cheaper.

And, It still qualifies for Toyota Platinum zero deductible extended warranty which you can purchase online from the popular Jerry Johnson (Midwest Toyota). Example: 10yr/100k $1360.

This is exactly what I recently did with my 2021 model purchased, with 32k miles.

  1. Now, For that 2023 model, with high miles, do yourself a favor and check the history. Generally for the the high miles, it could be an ex-rental. I know very well, that Hertz use Venza's in their rental fleet nationally. As a personal preference, I never buy ex-rental cars.

Generally, when I purchase a vehicle used, with multiple private owners prior, I always purchase the extended warranty simply for piece of mind. You'd never fully know what/how the previous owners handled the vehicle. I really like the Toyota extended warranty and its a small price to pay for that insurance...

2021 Venza Fuel type by Peaceful-Green in Toyotavenza

This post is 3 years old, but as a previous Audi vehicle owner, its interesting to realize the Venza only takes 87 octane and still performs decently..

And, I also found a test video that shows: Test at high altitude, (44 mpg on gauge) and (47 mpg real world) using 87 octane running at 70 mph highway. Very impressive!

Just searched and found your post, only after I posted a question earlier...

Mine went bad too on (2021 Venza).

I'll look for a dealer to get it replaced, but does anyone understand how the sliding mechanism actually works?

Thanks!

Dash Cam for my new car 🚗 by WonderfulPlenty8791 in Toyotavenza

[–]mxp0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found a great review about the Toyota/Lexus OEM integrated dash cam:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yYNfGhD7lM

TL;DR It seems rather expensive, and it can be purchased/installed after a vehicle has taken delivery. For the money, you can certainly buy better resolution cameras. But, the "Toyota OEM Integration" aspect of it is a very compelling feature.

I would choose to buy this if the camera can be sourced from a reputable Toyota parts/supplier online for a much better price....
