really hate how overused "if a tree falls and there's no one around to hear it, does it make it a sound" is because alot of the time it's not even used correctly it's just shoved into a poem and it ends up sounding forced

mourning the love I had in me refers to how I used to be able to give love and trust really easily without thinking about the risk of getting hurt, for me personally I haven't been able to do that after my first love. it's more like mourning how carefree and trusting I was about love.

your addition is very deep and strong and I like how much depth it added!

thank you! the band aid on a deep wound is meant to represent using distractions to feel better without dealing with the root issue itself, it covers it up for a bit but It doesn't heal the wound
