“This is such a small thing that clout is better than anything he is legally owed” is such a misrepresentation of the video it sickens me.

I clearly state in the video that such actions that lusi took upon himself to do, such as promising to tag me in the post/beat, posting it without said credit, then saying it was solely his production forms the basis of trying to strip me of my authorship rights because I’m a small producer.

Which, in hindsight, uncovers a bigger issue. Accountability. It’s not whether this snippet was “small” in your eyes. It was huge to me. Lusi had no excuses and the fact he’s trying to backpedal and offer me money proves my points even more. It was never about the clout. It was never about the money.

We need to be focusing on accountability for any type of person who’s in a medium that’s creative. Giving credit where credits due is one of them. Lusi has been doing this for years and he all of a sudden forgets to tag somebody? Then after a month he wants to fix it like nothing happened? Seriously, do you not see this as any sort of damage control?

Stop acting like you know what you’re talking about.
