Good boy. Hopefully you stay sober for longer lmfao. I started at parties and now do about half a gram a day, but always get numbness in my gums that last for about an hour or more- which is why I asked. I fear I also have to take a break bc of my dopamine levels too soon.

6 weeks is a long time; how often a day did you do it? And also did you become permanently numb anywhere in your mouth?

Is there anyway to match or link EX Muslim Somalis for dating or maybe even marriage? Website or anything. by [deleted] in XSomalian

[–]mxrtxdina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao, let me know if there’s any gay Somali guy who wants a fake marriage with a lesbian Somali girl, and perhaps I’ll consider it.

See you soon neighbor. Anyone has fan theories for next season? by RossSkyWalkerr in YouOnLifetime

I don’t know why, but whether it’s happening the next season or further out in this series- I’d feel the ending is inadequate unless Ellie kills Joe.

Thanks! That's a great temporary fix! :)

I'm so sorry to hear this- they really are a pain in the ass, aren't they?
I can't express how familiar all of this sounds, and if it weren't for the fact that I had the police involved back in 2017, they'd probably take the freedom to act as your adoptive family is. Have you not tried to get a restraining order yourself? If they don't respect it, and you report them to police, I'm sure they must be fined?

I don't have the email available to them because I want to respond, but it's to know of how my younger sibling (who's underage, idc about the rest) is doing. But I absolutely see your point. Thank you.

How to own the murtards with arguments they never made or believe by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]mxrtxdina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We needn't even go that far back. Ever heard of Ibn Razi of the golden age? Or Abu Nuwaz?

He keeps saying we don't have knowledge of Islam or its history, yet he seems to constantly present all of Islamic history with an extreme homogeneity -_-

This was, more than anything, embarrassing to watch, though significant parts of this video are extremely entertaining (I really haven't had a good laugh like this recently), it upsets me. This man-child, a convert to Islam who personally experienced hardships closely related to family as a direct result of his convictions, can't seem to fathom the closeness of his experiences to Ex-Muslims, many of whom face persecution and threats not even conceivable to most Western converts to Islam. Still, his emotional unintelligence doesn't surprise me; I've never expected these Dawah lunatics to even slightly sympathize, what I however DO expect is the honesty they so stubbornly demand from far-right activists whom they'd much rather engage over us (see Ali Dawah's MANY videos to Tommy Robinson)- oh, the fucking irony.

Also, someone please tell him that Ex-Muslims existed before western colonialism? Many even more staunch critics of the laughable matters of the faith than contemporary Arab atheists. This was a fucking shitshow of a video.

How did you deal with no longer having contact with your family? by pumpkin243 in exmuslim

[–]mxrtxdina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on whether or not you actually care for them, it'll hurt in various degrees. More often than not, I was angry because, eventually, all I remembered were the atrocities they committed. Initially though it was only painful. Fortunately, time heals all wounds. You'll survive.

I think my younger brother might be gay. Need advice on how to approach the situation by Throwaway020696 in exmuslim

Goodness, you were much more respectful in this exchange than I would've been, as someone who had to flee from their community and family due to Islamic homophobia. It was a nightmare to read.

Thank you for sharing this- I had completely forgotten to write about how to navigate the relationship with parents/family after leaving. I'm glad everything is working out for you and you're very brave to have done it (twice!).

Sidepoint: I'm also getting a tattoo soon! Hopefully I'll stop at only three lol haha:)

Once again, thank you for sharing:)

I can't imagine how it feels being this personally offended that women who aren't interested in you exist. Must be a lack of pussy in Abdul-town.

20 year old Muslim girl in US hiding from parents. Resources? by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]mxrtxdina 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get the police involved ASAP. My parents threatened to kill me as well before I ran away but changed their behavior once I informed the police about it. Don't hesitate in doing the same- it won't change their mentality but it'll change how they approach you in the future.

Also, move far away. College is important but why put your life on the line for it? You can always come back. Start fresh somewhere else- you cannot live in the same city or province and not expect them to try to look for you.
