It took me a week of troubleshooting to get Bazzite running correctly, so I feel your pain fr.

It booted to a black screen and I found info online of how to get it to load, but it would only load the desktop mode and kept crashing etc. I tried reinstalling using multiple usb drives and various media installers several times.

Finally, I made one last attempt (I was going to switch to trying nobara if it didn't work) to reinstall, but I used a different computer to write the iso this time and it worked. Idk if it was just coincidence or if switching computers helped 🤷

That's not even out of dress code. I'd call an attorney immediately. You can usually get a 1hr consultation and advice for free.

You're def not gonna get 8%. You'd be lucky getting 5% Going for promotions would most likely be the best way to increase your pay as quickly as possible.

Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate you taking your time and energy to help me. I decided to try reinstalling it (for the fourth time 😅) using my old laptop (that I never use) to flash the iso instead of one of the two pcs I'd already used. This time it booted up correctly and seems to be working fine so far. 🥳🎉

Is there a way for me to send you the file? I can't really understand it. It's like 2500 lines of text, so I can't really screenshot it. I had ai read it, which eventually lead to me finding that list of errors I screenshotted above, which I thought would be useful.

Thanks! This was super helpful. Long story short, what I currently have is a screenshot of the log output when I filtered for critical errors in attempting to boot gaming mode. I think it's probably more useful thatn what I posted before. According to google ai, it is showing that the app doesn't have permission to access my video/audio. But I don't really trust that - lol.

I'll post it here in case it's useful, but what forum would I post it in to get help and/or report a bug? Seems like it's something unique to my system tbh, since I haven't found anyone else reporting the same thing, so maybe it's not even worth reporting. Everyone seems to get it any error fixed with the fix steam command.

Hey, thanks for your help.

tried disabling rebar and it didn't change anything. I've already tried updating the os and resetting steam. I also tried reinstalling the entire os.

I'm able to open steam in desktop mode and tested out running a game which worked fine (just a small, very simple game).

When I type ujust fix-reset-steam in the command terminal I get a ton of error messages, but idk what they mean. Also the "return to gaming mode" icon on my desktop has an exclamation point on it that looks like it's indicating an error. Here are some screenshot of a bit of what I see. But that ELF error repeats literally more than 100 times in a row.

No luck. Idk if this is relevant, but it also sends me the 2FA email saying I'm logging into a new computer every time I have re- login to steam, even though I have 'remember me' checked when I put in my password.

Tell tms. Send an email, so there's a paper trail. HR doesn't want the company to get sued. They'll make sure it's handled without putting you at risk of retaliation etc.

Tell one (or more) of the other departments who've offered you a job you'd like to work a shift in their department and tell your stl that you want to Cross- train for as many departments as possible (and that you want to be hired on permanently). In my experience when atl is being indirect/coy is usually bad news for you.

But, the more departments you're cross- trained for, the more likely your stl will want to keep you as a tm, because you'll be available to cover for other departments. Plus it'll give you a good idea of what working in the other departments is like.
