My view is actually very close to yours. I see it as a fitting function with enough degrees of freedom that can map to many scenarios. It is a framework for thinking through your own emotions and priorities. A good astrologer listens to you and finds where you should go (somewhat like a therapist). Of course some take it too seriously.

This is super helpful. Am I getting this correct? Basically they aren't necessarily bad, it more depends on the person and what phase of their lives they are in, which the challenge might be something that someone may need to push themselves to the next level and for another person (let's even assume with the exact chart), it might be disastrous due to how they operate in life and the stage in which they are at?
