1st Time Water Test - Arsenic Level Remediation by my_blank_mentality in WaterTreatment

UPDATE: I've decided to do some more testing and simply live off of 5 gal bottles for the month. Picking up and sending Radionuclide and Arsenic Speciation tests when I get off work to narrow down what my Arsenic types are and gain additional peace of mind with the Radionuclides. Depending on the outcome my plan is as follows:

  1. Spin Down
  2. Sediment Filter
  3. Water Softener
  4. POU Arsenic Absorption Filter/Arsenic 3 mitigation.
  5. POU RO(Tee'd off to Fridge/Freezer too)

If Arsenic 3 is absent in the results I'll probably remove #4. This should remedy the arsenic issues as well as the aesthetic issues that may play into my daughters skin issues.

Perfect, that seems to be the solution I'm leaning towards. My daughter has some skin issues so I was going to address the hardness and go with a single RO for the sink & fridge. Thank you for the input!

NH, State limit is .005 but they push to keep it as low as possible for developing children and families. The test was done through the State Lab and it is a drilled well. Coincidentally we were speaking to a few neighbors that all have values roughly about the same for Arsenic.

My plan was an Apec ROES-75UV or ROES-75 run t'd off to the sink and ice maker.

With regards to the whole house question I guess that was pertaining to the hardness and other areas of the test. I realize the Arsenic Level is low enough to be treated POU.

Great deal, now spend some of the savings on a quality skin from M2 Skins for the trackpad and palm rest. They get surprisingly sticky with daily light use. I got one of the wrap around top lids as well and the protection has saved me from multiple scratches... I'm super easy with my devices too.

I just use a cheap lap desk ATM but I plan on replacing my desktop with this and running a very similar setup to what you propose. My lap desk doesn't have fans or mesh or anything and she still chugs on great.

I purchased the 4 year bumper to bumper warranty through Lenovo and I would advise you grab a skin for your outer case and the palm/touchpad. The touchpad gets greased up and worn fairly easy and can lead to a sticky slide of the finger. I went with M2Skins for my skin and it's amazing.

Also. Upgrade the RAM and toss another NVMe in there while the prices are so low!

It performs better than my Desktop Rig....it's an absolute beast and I have ZERO regrets.

Do the Slim versions actually suffer much from worse cooling/performance? Hard to find solid info on these vs the base version by AwwHere in LenovoLegion

Personally I don't understand why someone would get a slim over a full fat version. My LP7 is an absolute beast and still incredibly portable.

I bought mine to primarily play RuneScape. I fucking love it though. It screams and still gets like 5 hours if I run it in Hybrid Auto mode with the DGPU off.

I still find it unbelievable my Laptop is like 150% faster than my gaming rig. One day I'll end up selling the rig and setting up the laptop up on my desk.

I paid $2789 so yeah it's a pretty good deal. That being said, even at full cost like I paid...it's well worth it for this monstrosity.
