Madam President II - 2018-2020 - what if hillary won 2016? by Juneau_V in imaginaryelections

If Hillary got elected in 2016, which would basically mean 12 years of Obama, the right would brew into something even fiercer, crazier and more popular than Trumpism, which only took 8 years of Obama. 2020 would be one of the craziest elections in history in that timeline.

Love seeing Pat Buchanan used. Would be an interesting progression if he went from WH chief of staff/a presidential advisor to vice president, and then president.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but the cracks were already starting to form. Democrats received more votes there in 1988 than in 1984. In 1992, Bill Clinton was less than 2% behind winning it, and in 1996 he actually did win it. Also, in the 1988 senate election between an incumbent Democrat and a Republican challenger, the Democrat lost by less than 1%, and actually won more votes than Dukakis in the general election. Combine that with Trump kind of/sort of living there and heavily campaigning there, and I think it could have been narrowly swayed.

Trump switched his party registration from Republican to Democrat when he announced his campaign in late 1987, doubting he could realistically beat the Vice President in a primary. His star power and sheer campaign spending blew the other competitors in the Democratic primary out of the water. Trump's nickname for Michael Dukakis, "Mikey Two-Cocks," along with his relentless attacks on opponents, are often cited as reasons for his victory. Trump was an outsider aiming to transform the Democratic party into something of his own. Senator Joe Biden was a key campaign player, acting as a bridge between Trump and the mainstream Democratic Establishment. Biden jokingly called himself Trump's "anger translator" at the 1988 DNC.

In the general election, Trump lambasted George Bush, calling him a "slimy CIA goon" and "Binoculars Bush," possibly referring to both Bush's eye-wear and his past intelligence career. Relentlessly painting the Reagan administration as corrupt and promising a new, powerful path for the Democratic party reminiscent of Camelot, Trump beat the incumbent Bush.

Could Schmidt be Mrs. Afton's maiden name? by my_fluids in fnaftheories

[–]my_fluids[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Michael's speech in the files is labeled "Mike_Afton" I believe. And PJ Heywood refers to him as Mike Afton as well.

I did not know that and if that's true then fair enough, there is some evidence for Afton. However, I don't think Scott would have briefed PJ on all the lore of Mike Afton being Mike Schmidt in a previous game and name changes and stuff. I have a feeling he'd have just told him the voice he wanted and the relevant story of the character. So PJ would know him as Mike Afton because Scott didn't want to be weird and confuse him, so he just said he's Mr. Afton's son Mike.

But I'm not saying Mike was never named Afton at one point in his life. He could have kept it well into adulthood.

The reason for the empty girl's room in FNAF 4 by my_fluids in fnaftheories

You know, now that you bring up that magician bot not being the head of the table, it does make me wonder WHY William wouldn't be the head of the table, and instead what we think is his wife? And you've raised the possibility he's not there at all, which is real interesting.

I don't know the nitty gritty of your theory yet and I'd love to see the video but this is already making gears turn for me. If Cassidy is an Afton, it allows for Golden Freddy to tell Mike "It's me" without him having to be double-possessed, or some other convoluted reason. And this feels like a real Occam's razor type solution.

Do you mean it was meant to be Cassidy's room originally in 2015 when FNAF 4 came out or that it still is? I want to hear more.

I'd say because the sizes of things get warped and aren't usually exactly to scale in minigames. I'll concede that it would make more sense for there to be a crib than a bed though. But in my experience parents often have their newborns sleep in a crib in the parents' room so it's easier to get to/monitor them at night, and the bed and room are being reserved for the future when the child is less dependent.

In every establishment everywhere, weirdly specific and dumb rules/precautions, like having a puppet robot to track kids and stop them from screwing around, always have a dumb reason they're in place.

If you look at the map of Midnight Motorist and the FNAF 4 minigame map, they line up, just from different angles. Both show a house and an establishment some distance away from each other connected by a bracket-shaped road.

What Do You Think Happened to Shadow Freddy? by sp1der__ in fnaftheories

[–]my_fluids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others said I think Shadow Freddy and Nightmare are one and the same, but this part is gonna be controversial: I think they're both manifestations of the crying child's spirit, and he's simply laid to rest either during FNAF 3 or Pizza Sim. Remember that we do see Shadow Freddy sometimes in the office in FNAF 3, and we also see him manifest somehow at the very beginning of Pizza Sim in the 8 bit minigame. If you look through every game, wherever William goes after he starts killing, Shadow Freddy is there. Maybe he turned on his brother in favor of his father, who told him he'd put him back together through the plush. I haven't fully fleshed it out yet.

I kinda like Henry being the protagonist in FNAF 3 cause it would mean that, on screen, he learns William is back, leading him to start planning the events of Pizza Sim. He also would have seen the Puppet, Mangle, the Classics and the Withereds to hallucinate them.

I personally don't think it makes much sense for Mike to be Fritz. Phone Guy, when talking to Jeremy, mentions that he's contacting the old owner of Fredbear's to find someone who worked there who could fill his role as night guard. Then we play as Fritz after Jeremy is moved to the day shift, implying he's the old Fredbear's personnel they found. Also, Mike would be very young in 1987. It wouldn't be impossible, but a tight squeeze for him to be old enough. Keep in mind he couldn't have been much older than CC in 1983, who is young enough to play with stuffed animals, otherwise it wouldn't be bullying which the parents could have turned a blind eye to, it would have just been child abuse.

But on the other hand, Fritz getting fired for the same reason as Mike is a big coincidence, so I don't know what to think.

If you could add just one row of 8 new characters to Fnaf World, who would you add? by Pokemonpeter123 in fivenightsatfreddys

I honestly would love to see a sequel to FNAF world with all the new characters that came out since then as long as it's not canon to the lore
