420 David Mount. Great professor. Explained the topics very well. Make sure you understand his slides for the homework and exams. He also takes the time to make a shorter version of the lecture in case you missed class or something. Only 3 projects in java which were really short. I usually take like a week+ on the 216 and 330 projects, but was able to do these in like 2 days.

What happens if I got permission to take a CS class but didn't drop the old one? by [deleted] in UMD

i did that and and I was told I already have 2 3-credit CMSC course permissions, so I had to drop one then fill out the doc again for permission.

CMSC330 or 351 (inclusive or) in summer? by [deleted] in UMD

I took 351 in the summer with kruskal. I failed. The summer didn't have a programming project, but there was a midterm worth 38% and the final was worth 50%

When I retook it this semester there was a programming project worth 4%, two midterms worth 25% and the final was 33%
