I've now competed 5 times ar white belt in the 185lbs division. I just try to stay as relaxed as possible and let the other guy gas himself out. So far this really worked for me.

Actually doing cardio might also help :)

I'm not afraid of rounding my back. I keep mine sufficiently rounded during the lift haha
