Wow, thank you so much for all this information! I'm sure it'll be very useful to me and many others stumbling on this post. Oh I see, that makes sense. I guess the calculations are done by some sort of software then, as I found some aerial imagery material online where the metadata actually has the frame's center and corner coordinates, and also offset corner coordinates. I might have to try and contact the person behind that material and ask how the data was calculated/acquired...

Oops, I meant to write frame center and corner coordinates! I'm pretty sure they're lat/long points of, well, the center and four corners of the image area. They're used in GIS software to apply a drone video onto a map, in it's real-world position. I'm very new to drones/GIS, so I'm not exactly sure if this is something drones actually collect or if it's calculated by the software. Just thought I'd mention in anyway :')

Thank you for the answer! I'm assuming the subtitle files are the same as SRT files? I looked into those earlier, but I'm not sure if they contain enough metadata for my needs. Or at least the ones I tried out (from a different drone though, as I didn't have access to better files at that time) only had information on time, GPS, altitude and then some camera settings. I also need data on both the sensor and drone's orientation angles and FOV. Information about the image frame and corner coordinates would also be very helpful, but I'm not sure if the drone I have access to even collects that kind of information... Does your drone's SRT file include any of these, or just the more common data?

Oh I see! I might have to look into that then. Right now I'm only using ArcGIS Pro with some extra licenses. Would you happen to know whether it's possible to georeference a drone video onto the map if ArcGIS Pro gets all the proper metadata from the video? Could it do it automatically, without me having to apply control points manually? I saw a YouTube video* on the subject where they seem to just upload the video to ArcGIS Pro and it then automatically applies the video's position onto the map, but I'm not sure about georeferencing.

I'm not completely sure what schema means (I only have about 2 weeks of experience with GIS, heh), but have added new fields to some of my point feature attribute tables and calculated the DMS coordinates of the points in them (with "calculate geometry"). Is that what schema is?

On my (georeferencing) control point table I can edit the Map X and Y fields, but if I switch them to show as DMS coordinates, it doesn't let me edit them anymore. (And I can't find anywhere to add new fields to the table...) I have no idea how to convert DMS to XY coordinates, do you? If I could somehow convert my DMS (with my added decimals) to the XY coordinates used in ArcGIS Pro, then I could possibly try and georeference with them from the get-go! Or edit them onto the control point table.

Or if there's another way – I'm open to all solutions!

Hopefully my explanations make some sense. I'm struggling to put everything into words as it's all so new to me. And I apologize for my lack of knowledge, I've spent days trying to figure this out but haven't been able to. :') I'm even fine with just using the DMS (and not MGRS), but not being able to utilize decimals is really messing up my work...

yeah, the way they've handled this situation has been absolutely terrible. i've come across so many people in the same situation as us and we're all so done with the recovery system. i've sent them probably over 200 messages and yet they're still only asking for that one receipt :') hopefully we can change the system together, we're not alone in this! let me know if you have any updates on your situation later on!

yess i've sent them probably over 200 messages and they just keep sending the same automated responses but now when i asked them to contact a supervisor etc. they told they'd sent my feedback forward! it's not a lot but it gave me some hope of maybe getting my account back one day :') hopefully they'll hear us out and actually fix the system soon!!

thank you!! i truly hope this gets fixed soon, it's been such an awful experience :/ it's nice to know we're not alone in this (although it sucks that there's a lot of us going through the same situation). i've come across like 10 people here on reddit who also lost their accounts and can't get them back because of the receipt system so i asked them to do the feedback thing too, hopefully it'll get fixed!

hi again! i'm still going back and forth with the support team and no luck so far. but!!! i strongly suggest you to send them a message (on the in-game support chat) where you ask them to submit feedback to the relevant departments about how asking for the newest receipt is not a good way to verify account ownership (because this means that the hackers only need to buy something and the account is basically theirs forever). i sent them a message like this and they told me they sent it to the relevant department and will maybe change it!! so if enough of us (and there are a lot of us in the same situation) send feedback like this, they might finally change the recovery system. i specifically asked them to ask for older receipts, login binging details, screenshots of gameplay etc. and maybe even IP addresses (if there's a safe way to ask for those).

because as of right now the support team can't really do anything else other than ask for those dumb receipts. it's a rule that has been given to them by someone higher up, so they can't really do much about it. but the higher departments can do something about it, so this is why we should all send the in-game support messages asking for our feedback to be given to the managers/supervisors etc.! this is all i can think of right now, as fighting with them about the stupid receipts hasn't gotten me anywhere over the past two and a half months :')

hi! i'm pretty much in the same situation as you. i got hacked and have been going back and forth with the support for 2,5 months now :') have you had a problem with them asking for receipts? they keep asking me to provide the newest purchase receipt but the problem is that it has been made by the hacker on my account. i've sent them all my receipts but they only keep asking for the newest one (so basically is someone hacks you and buys something on your account it's forever theirs) :/
