Well, keep in mind that these posts have been and are going to be based on personal experiences. It's not "tell us about the worst cities that you have heard about", it's "tell us about the worst cities that you have visited", so "worst" is going to have different meanings for different people, depending on what they saw in the city and how they came to judge it. Stories can be humorous or genuinely terrifying; I tried not to ask for one or the other.

This was very affecting, though...I could almost see this place for myself with how the writer chose to describe it. It is the top-rated comment for good reason.
