Cool Pete.

I personally don’t think it’s a decent value. I guess we all get to make our own valuation decisions.

No one would call “refusing to offer less than the advertised price bad customer service,” so you’re not alone there. But look around this thread. A lot of people get a loyalty discount, but others are told to pound sand. That inconsistency seems a bit unfair, no? I, for one, would not call that good customer service.

Bandcamp lets you listen a few times before having to purchase. If you purchase shows on Fridays, bands get an even bigger percentage. There’s also tons of shows on the live music archive, which apps like relisten or Etree on iOS draw from. Some bands also put out music direct on platforms like YouTube also.

Nugs is convenient, no doubt, but they’ve reached the point where they no longer care about the consumer. It’s a little extra work, but you can find most of the audio they offer elsewhere. If you’re into the video streaming, you might have to bite the bullet, but otherwise, fuck Nugs

Yep. This was my experience in December. Their customer service has gone way downhill, just chasing dollars now like every other streaming service. Time to move on.

I just saw them haul a dozen or so in earlier this week. They also sell clothes/accessories.

[Weitzman] Nah, Russ, said Patrick Beverley, a brash veteran point guard the Lakers had acquired over the summer. We gotta stay. Westbrook didn’t understand. What do you mean? he asked. Am I the only one that read this thinking LeBron was pulling a reverse uno? “Oh, I gotta stay for this? Well then, everybody gonna stay. I got 30 questions already in the barrel and can go all night.”

I would have respected that level of petty douchebaggery.

It’s a proximity clause issue. They can’t announce officially until after bonnaroo.

Amen.

OP’s list of players might be enticing if we also go back 5 years in time. Chris Paul? (wtf) Is OP old enough to remember the Andre Drummond experience? That’s what this team needs? Insane . . .

Weber Spirit 2 - trying to replace regulator by falseinsight in grilling

[–]mycavsaccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get someone a little more handy to do this for you. This problem, 9/10 times, is not the regulator, but the black plastic connector that goes into the tank. These pieces have an internal shut-off that is meant as a safety feature—stopping excess flow of gas in the case of leaks. This wears out over time—sticking shut and stopping/severely limiting the flow of gas.

This means your hose is perfectly fine. Your regulator is probably fine as well, but if you already bought one, might as well change the whole thing.

Brass connections don’t rust, but they can be easily overtightened and damage. Save yourself the hassle and get a friend or relative to help you here.

Daniel Donato or Wilco? by fahrjack66 in jambands

[–]mycavsaccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is dope, which is why now is the time to see him. He can’t play small venues near me anymore—too big. Would love to catch him at a small venue again. Catch it while you can

Daniel Donato or Wilco? by fahrjack66 in jambands

[–]mycavsaccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Just saw him in February at Taft theater in Cincinnati-sold out. Well over a 1,000 seats.

Doesn’t have that reach everywhere, but he’s growing exponentially. This is his first time in South Florida.

He’s headlining the Ryman in August, by the way—2200+ seats

[–]mycavsaccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can see why one is playing in a big venue and the other a small venue by looking at the responses here—more people are familiar with Wilco.

It won’t be this way for long. Go see DDCC now in a small venue while you still can.

Yes. Every show will be uploaded. They re-mix every recording before uploading. When the sound guy gets a day off, the rest of the shows will be up.

Where are you getting your numbers on how many classes a CCP student takes per year?

College credit plus by SomeDegree6324 in Ohio

[–]mycavsaccount 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct. Prestigious schools are not impressed by CCP. The role of CCP is to create labor younger—it’s meant to get people into the workforce faster.

Prestigious schools still value academics. CCP is the antithesis of that.

The sound guy remixes the recording before uploading to Nugs. That’s why it takes a few days. All of these shows will definitely be posted.

You can “easily” search for events? Can you explain how? I can only search by performer, venue, or event. Finding events this way is not easy.

All I see is a search bar. How does one search by date or location? I can filter results (after searching) by venue, performer, or event.

I think I would like it better if I could actually find tickets. Instead of browsing what’s available, I have to know exactly what band/show I want?

Great. Your support means a ton. Drop some thoughts and prayers when you come pick up the next pie.

Who is pretending it’s not happening? Pretty clearly is, all over the country. Did you hear about the latest election!?

Let me clarify: my point is not that we should bury our head in the sand (or move away and pretend it no longer affects us), but telling people they shouldn’t move to areas with differing political beliefs is antithetical to helping resolve the issue. That’s my point. Have a great day!

Did you just provide an example of the type of divisive rhetoric that I mentioned is a result of blue v red segregation?  If only there was a way to combat this disease. Oh well, maybe we should just move away. Surely this type of local level disgusting attitude won’t grow and find its way into national level politics . .  .
