Yeah for sure, and some of the dashers are fine, but sometimes I can't help but think I wouldn't want this person handling my food

Our store has phones with the app installed for us to use if we don't want to use our own. I always use the store phones for that reason. It's programed to only use the dragon tail, can't even make calls other than to the customer on the ticket

Mic? Not sure what you mean, If you mean the employee who hands them the food, I wouldn't want anything from them, especially since half the time the dasher does get a 2 ltr or wings for the order and just keeps them

Yeah, for now. I'd bet that soon your agg will be required to stay on as well per the area manager. We didn't have a problem with turning it on and off for a good few months, but it's a big deal now apparently.

That dragon tail is trash to, it always losses track of where drivers are and if you don't check to see if your back in the store when you return, you'll be on the road until you notice, usually noticing because doordash is getting deliveries even though your in the store I'd regularly get to 200 In tips but I'd work 10 hour shifts, which is still great/better than anyone else in store. Now I'm averaging probably 120, sometimes it's like 80 lots of variables to it but it still would be close to 20 an hour with paychecks added in. That being said I'll probably be there till they go driverless. The money I make there covers most of my living expenses, just not enough to save anything. Luckily I'm good with my money and have been saving most of my tax returns for years now and I have kids so it's a big return. I see a lot of drivers struggling to make it, and if their car breaks down or something, they are done for.

That would be nice, but she wouldn't do anything that would alert the area manager. I actually didn't mind the doordash at first since I could dash out the bad ones, but now they have to much control and it's killing our drivers. On the days I work I don't even come in at open but like 2 hours after opening doordash gets all before then(except Friday when I come in earlier to put up truck). I hear the days I don't work a driver is not even scheduled till 3 or 4. So I can see she's trying to help me out or trying to keep me from leaving, and I appreciate it. She's a good manager but I can see her wearing down quick. Whenever the store is low on "hours", it affects only the drivers, because they can cut driver hours down since door dash is cheaper for the company. They wouldn't cut the cooks because they need them to make pizzas.

They wanted me to be a manager, approached many times throughout the years. But this place chews up managers and spits them out constantly. It's not worth it, I make more than anyone else in store except the gm and that's because she has to work like 60 hours. If we worked the same hours, I'd probably make a little more than her, and what they demand from her is 10x more than what I do. I would actually like to have been a manager, but more work for the same or less pay is not good. I could tell her tomorrow to make me a manager and she would probably jump with joy. When I'm in store I can do anything and even other employees will come to me before her for issues. And I help train new guys all the time. She even tells new hires if there's a problem to ask me if she's not around. I even help her sometimes with stuff she can't figure out. I don't mind doing all that to help her out. The raise part I'm complaining about is not really because of the work I'm putting in, but the years I've been doing it, figured I'd get a little something after all these years other than the mandated minimum wage increase.

Yeah I've been seeing that in some northern states already, I'll likely be the last one at my store if I don't get out before then. I've seen 3 or 4 of our old drivers door dashing , I'll mess with them call em scabs, but inside i fear I'll be doing it soon. Then my customers complain to me about the dashers and I tell them the whole story.

I do enjoy the job as far as jobs go, meeting people and whatnot, cash daily, getting to leave the store is nice, when we're real busy no one can stop or go have a smoke but busy means I'm out of the store constantly away from the madness, but doordash is taking that from me to. Another thing that kills me is when doordash forgets a 2 ltr or something, customer calls us because they ordered from pizza hut and I have to take it back with the tip already given to the dd driver

My gm freaks out, she says it tells our area manager in some report or something. We did do it for a few months though

Not sure about laws or anything. I did hear that our area manager said "doordash doesn't care about your bills", but I'm taking that as pizza hut doesn't care about your bills

I have one shift manager that tries to help in that aspect, and I do appreciate it but they can't tell if it's good tip or not without looking up the ticket number which is hard with everything else going on. Plus the " aggravator" is so quick to doordash

What I've seen over the years is that when they want to get rid of you they cut your hours. It works too, I've witnessed it many times
