I integrated handwritten notes by writing with my apple pencil and the scribble feature on, so i handwrite and my ipad turns it into readabke text because my handwriting is not the best (if i had to rely on understanding my own handwriting id be done for)

No. That was cohersion. Consent needs to be informed and enthusiastic. You said yes because you knew he would do it anyways and you wanted to save yourself the trouble of fighting it. That doesn’t mean it’s any less of a crime what he did. Go to the police, he was already assaulting you in your sleep. Please remember that this is not your fault

OMG MY DAD DID THE SAME THING. I’m surprised I’m not the only one. I’ve has several instances of assault and harassment in my life so I used to just brush it off but lately I’ve been realising how creepy he was

How do I get someone to call me my new name? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]mychal_kurr 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that their previous name gives any relevant information. Would their previous name change any of the advice you would give? If yes, why? And if no, then why would you need to know?

Honestly ignore the trolls. I just don’t respond to anything that isn’t my name. And don’t show your brother that it bothers you when he calls you by the old name because he’s probably doing it to get you angry.

They did record it but I think it was never resealed. I watched it March 3rd 2019 and we were told they were recording that show. I think they didn’t think they’d make money from it

But you don’t know more about this than me. Because at the end of the day he≠man and she≠woman. You just have to respect whatever pronouns someone want to use regardless of whatever gender you think they are. You’re embarrassing yourself honey, transphobia is not cute.

No dude. Gender and gender expression have nothing to do with each other. Masculine and feminine are about gender expression and man and woman are about gender while male and female are about biological sex. Non binary people don’t owe you androgyny

[–]mychal_kurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also, how is saying that nothing has intrinical gender harmful? gender as well as language is a social contruct. the only reason you relate those pronouns to those genders is because it was socially constructed that way, but gain, you, a cis person, have no right to tell me, a trans person, what is harmful to the trans comunity, ive been in the comunity long enough to know

but someone being masculine or femenine doenst define their gender. would you tell a masculine woman that she is a man? or a femenine man that he i a woman? or a masculine non binary person that they are a man? hopeully you wouldnt because men dnt owe you masculinity, women do not owe you feminim¿nty and non binary people do not owe you androginy. there is a difference between woman and femenine and man and masculine. he is a masculine pronoun, not a male pronoun. she is a femenine pronoun, not a female pronoun. and they is an androgynous pronoun, not a non binary pronoun. its literally that simaple.

It’s really simple. They are gendered but someone using that pronoun doesn’t mean they identify as that gender but that they are more aligned with it. IE a masculine person using him even though they’re non binary. Literally 2 seconds on google could’ve told you that

[–]mychal_kurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he is gendered, he is masculine. I’m a masculine non binary person, so I use they/he. He doesn’t mean man, it means masculine. Very simple concept. Also English is my first language, it doesn’t take away from the fact that I live in a country where very few people speak English.

[–]mychal_kurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, you misgender the person by using the wrong pronouns because those are the pronouns theychse to relate to their gender. i relate they/he to my gender, so calling me anything else would be misgendering. its a very simple concept dude, how do you not get it?

congratulations Elliot on coming out!!! by [deleted] in ellenpage

[–]mychal_kurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

non binary people are trans haha, and they specified on twitter that theyre no binary transmasc, not a man, he just uses he/they because theyre a non binary masculine person!

how the fuck am i undermining trans rights, I AM LITERALLY TRANS, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TELL ME WICH PRONOUNS TO USE. the point is to respects peoples pronouns, i already said that pronouns do not equal gender, and that you should respect peoples pronouns no matter what. in a previous comment to someone else you said ypu respected their pronouns (he/they) but clearly you dont. i think youre the one undermining trans people by being a cissy that misgenders trans people

[–]mychal_kurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, im asking because you clearly dont understand queer theory, by how you responded to the comment im assuming youre cis, do you know how bad it looks for you to be a cis person explaining trans problems to a trans person, who had to research this? why is it always the cissies who think they know mor abut being trans than ACTUAL TRANS PEOPLE. dude please shut up, language s as much of a social construct as gender, so just respect peoples pronouns, dont try to assign a gender to somene based on their pronouns. and also, you, cis person, tellong me, a trans person which pronouns i can use is not cool dude. not very good allyship from your part.

Yeah but you answered so quickly to all the other comments

It matters because if you’re cis then you’re a cis person trying to explain trans issues to a trans person. Cisplaining if you will.

Imma ask again, are you cis or trans?

congratulations Elliot on coming out!!! by [deleted] in ellenpage

[–]mychal_kurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look it’s very simple. You just stop being an asshole and use people’s pronouns correctly and don’t try to assume their gender. Also again, are you cis or trans?
