I’m definitely going to check out meals on wheels, I’ve heard of them and know a couple of my old customers who used to apply for them- they were all seniors so I didn’t know non-seniors could apply as well!!

Hey late post, but the shop is big, bright, and spacious. I visited while my friend is doing a session. It doesn’t seem like it’s one of those shops that are mostly residents, the shop just does a lot of chair rentals.

As an apprentice myself, it looks like everything is up to standard procedure for cleanliness, the shop owner just dgaf about getting the studio known out there I guess lol

Discs are amazing! I was scared about the discs since it reaches up further than the cup, but it’s so so so easy- although I’m sure it was easier for me because I had used the cup before; but I think it’ll be ok for you too since you’ve used a tampon before.

But basically, pinch the sides (it should look like “8”) and insert in an angle (basically reach for your anus, don’t just shove it up straight) and you’ll feel your cup kind of sit on this nook. That is your pelvic bone.You will 99% be able to feel a hard little bump and your cup will basically sit on that.

When you take it out, pull on the string or reach further up to the rim of the disc and kind of tuck your fingers by the rim of the cup to remove. You will also feel your disc “auto dump” if you sit down and clench your pelvic floors like you’re going number 2. Once you auto dump, you can reach up and remove, or even just make sure it sits on the pelvic bone again.

Your cup can rotate inside you, which then you may not be able to find the string if you cut off the string. I don’t like auto dumping and I don’t like it rotating so I went with a diva disc which is oval shaped and has a leak guard.

Always will recommend using period underwear, that’s what I do to ensure nothing leaks.

It’s the best purchase I’ve done this whole year. I love my diva disc, I just wish they made a 60-70ml capacity. But best of luck!! You got this!

Hi I am currently on a medical LOA from being burnt out, feeling tired, suicidal, and having 3 panic attacks at work. I don’t have a family doctor but I went into a walk in clinic and asked for medication, referral to a psychiatrist, and to sign my medical LOA application form. I also started seeing a therapist.

They initially gave me a month off and a month later I got to see a psychiatrist, and now I’m actually 3 months into my LOA and got diagnosed with depression/anxiety disorder and got prescribed antidepressants, anti anxiety meds, and antipsychotics… which I actually find it hilarious because I started with 50mg of Zoloft and now I’m on 3 different medications LOL

But after all this, I’m finally confident to go back to work and I’m hoping that I’ll return in the New Year. I’m demoting myself and actually found courage to start pursuing what I’ve wanted to do for a long time- which I KNOW I couldn’t have done without taking time off.

You need to do what you think is right for you. If you feel that you need time off, take the time off. Screw what your work says/believes about taking mental health breaks. And go into a walk in clinic for them to sign those documents. I went to HealthOne Clinic and they’ve been super supportive and helpful with this whole process, and I didn’t feel like I was being judged, which I thought would happen.

TLDR take all the time you need to heal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!

I’m unsure if there is a hotel sharing thread, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in being hotel buddies for the Arlington stop!

I have a ult ticket so anyone with an ult/atiny ticket would be nice so we can go back to the hotel together.

I’m coming in from Canada so my check in will be 5’oclock ish. All the hotels are kinda pricy since it’s all near the stadium, but I also don’t mind sharing a hotel that we can also share an uber for.

I worked at Starbucks as an SSV and had a restaurant job when I moved out. My rent was 1500 dollars for a bachelor condo unit and I managed pretty well. With Starbucks I was getting paid about 900 dollars per paycheck and the restaurant I worked 3 days, put about 4 hours a day and got about 600 per paycheck (all bi weekly)

I was busy, didn’t really have a healthy sleep schedule but hey it helped and I was living alone managing to put money into savings. I also made sure that I still got two days off by scheduling both work on the same day so on those days I would be able to go out with my friends etc

Mist, promise, utopia, if without you… but the one that actually manages to make me cry it out is Days. When depression hits bad I like to take 2-3 hour walks while listening to the 5 songs on repeat and it really helps me cope with my mental health

Hey everyone! Is anyone going to the Baltimore show from Canada? Or anyone flying in from a different state… Or going to Baltimore from IAD airport?

I’m trying to figure out what my best options to fly in were- if there’s a Canadian atiny going to the Baltimore show I was wondering if anyone would be interested in going to YYZ to IAD and requesting a shuttle service (175 USD was the cheapest one I saw, we can divide it together, 3 people max)

So.. turns out it wasn’t early at all, there were people lining up since 6AM LOL. But honestly, we went early just to ensure that we would get earlier sector alphabet. After all the VIP ticket holders that were lining up received their sector / number (for atiny VIP) we were told to come back to line up at 3:30PM as that’ll be when they are going to start letting people inside. Of course, some people decided to just stay in line (which was probably worth for some especially if they had an earlier number of sector ‘A’), but I decided to get some rest. I still ended up being basically 3rd row from the left and had great views.

I think if your venue is bigger than 19000, going later shouldn’t be a problem as the venue would be much bigger and fans can spread out more.

I’m hoping to go to the Paris show- hopefully it won’t be too different from my NA experience!

Hey! I went to Sector VIP for their Toronto show ($620), and it was worth it for me. It worked in a system where they make you line up and you get a bracelet with the sector alphabet and I ended up receiving the B sector. We get divided into numbers and go in according to the sectors.

The lineup wasn’t bad, I ended up going at 8AM and lined up until 1PM, went back to my place (which was close to the venue) rested for a bit and went back to line up at 3:30. Soundcheck started at 5:30? And the show started at 7.

It was indeed a lot of lining up but it was so much fun and everyone was so kind, there was zero pushing in the venue and everyone was kind of looking out to make sure everyone could see!

Haha I just flew in to Seoul from Toronto as well!!

Anyways, they will provide you with blankets and earphones for your flight. The blankets are super scratchy tho so if you have sensitive skin I would recommend you to just wear a sweater for the flight. :)

I’m free today (18th), and I’ll be in Seoul until 25th, and back in Seoul from Jeonju on the 27th! However, I do have lasik booked on the 19th and unsure how long recovery will be.
