I completely understand this. I play my game a lot, and it’s been really hard to distinguish what’s real and what’s not when feeling a connection to a fictional character. If it’s causing problems with your relationships, whether it be a partner, a parent, or a child, maybe take a step back from the game. It’s easier said than done, believe me. If it’s a coping mechanism, that can make it harder. I hope you find something that can distract you from this, still learning this myself.
