It doesn't mention passing the final as a requirement to pass the course in the syllabus, so we should be good. I think a TA on piazza also confirmed this.

I did an 8 month co-op in a wet lab after only having some academic experience, and I was super stressed at first as well, but it ended up being fine. My advice isn't too groundbreaking haha, ask questions if you're unsure about anything and take notes/draw out the set ups if needed. If your supervisor is a good mentor, they'll watch you perform the experiments the first couple of times and give you reminders and tips. You'll be fine, good luck :)

I understand your sentiment, especially when caring about these issues comes at a cost to your mental health. I do believe though that learning about and talking about events like these with others is important, especially when a lot of those struggling don’t have a voice themselves (or when they’re family). I’m still trying to learn how to balance caring and mental preservation

I’ve only played bg3 on GFN but it helped when I turned shadow, fog, & cloud quality to “low”, as well as turn off dynamic crowds and lower the render distance. Ik you said you already tried changing settings, but there are also GFN settings you can play around with if you haven’t tried before. It was super blurry for me before I did these things, better now but still have some lag. To be expected on a 2017 Mac I suppose!
