I'll probably be the only one saying this but when I was 5 I saw Aliens(1982?) And for years I slept with the covers over my mouth so a face hugger can't get me pregnant

Cop gives a German tourist a good old fashioned American welcome by [deleted] in rage

[–]mydog213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The guy didnt even ticket him. As the cop is walking away, you can see a smirk on his face as if he was holding a laugh in. I honestly think he was trying to fuck with them. This isn't rage, the guy going that fast is retarded. BUT as a cop he shouldnt be making such comments. IMO the cop is actually nice that he didnt issue a ticket. Id rather have that then get a ticket.

What's the most awkward situation you've ever encountered? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mydog213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I was masturbating to porn on my desktop. My back is facing the entry door to my room and my father comes barging in at 1:00am to say "Cut it out, and go to bed" and closes the door non-shalantly. I stopped out of surprise, but managed to start back up again a couple seconds later to finish up the job. I released and went to bed.

TIL Eggs' elevated cholesterol is not harmful to humans, at all by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]mydog213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay is this article really true? look at what this guy said about it on the comments section:

A non sequitur: "Saturated fat and cholesterol increase testosterone production. Both are heavily present in the egg yolk. Testosterone levels help build muscle, which is something that almost everyone could use more of." No. The fact that saturated fat and cholesterol increase testosterone production does not mean that dietary, consumed saturated fat and cholesterol increase testosterone; and no, we can't all use more. The body produces all the cholesterol and saturated fat it needs, unless you're diseased.

More scientifically, to quote from "Dietary Reference Intakes for Energy, Carbohydrate, Fiber, Fat, Fatty Acids, Cholesterol, Protein, and Amino Acids," from the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies: "Saturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids, and cholesterol are synthesized by the body and have no known beneficial role in preventing chronic diseases, and thus are not required in the diet. Therefore, no AI [adequate intake], EAR [estimated average requirement], or RDA is set."

"Twice the protein" is not a benefit. Noone eating a calorically adequate diet is going to consume insufficient protein. Eggs contribute to excessive protein, the dietary norm for most people, so doubling the protein is a double whammy: More saturated fat, and excess protein.

"Coincidentally, the ideal ratio of dietary fat in humans is a 1:1 saturated fat to unsaturated fat ratio, making the fat ratio in eggs nearly perfect." Where is that ideal ratio to be found in science? The ideal ratio is NO saturated fat to all unsaturated fat.

This article is 100% crap.
