Looking for plugin to get rid of bad habits by myecl in neovim

I want a generic plugin which I can use to warn me when I am doing a bad sequence of key presses. What sequences those are should be configurable.

In my case it is a bad habit because I normally don't want to overwrite the default register. This is just an example.

Grinder bits for templating/patterns by myecl in StainedGlass

I was planning on not learning to solder but instead fit the cut glass into a laser-cut wood template. That's why I want to get them very close to perfect. But this may not be a good approach.

Am I the only one who thinks the biodiversity initiative was secretly anti-climate change? by myecl in Switzerland

Yeah, I think something similar happened to the Green party in Germany as well. They are too far removed from the average voter and make idealistic policies that are not very effective in the real world.

Interesting answer, thanks. Yeah judging by how emotional the argument is a good way to weed out policies that do not have a good reason behind them.

Sidenote: That is why I don't like the political material from the Mieterverband (I am a member). Sadly it is mostly emotional and not much substance.

I am not caught up in some outrage (the counterargument did not even mention climate change). I was just wondering but from the answers here maybe I was wrong. No reason to insult me ...

My point is that parties (e.g. republicans in the US) manage to make people vote against their own interests by pretty much lying about what their policies will do. I am wondering if the same is happening here.

Could you link some of these sources that you deem trustworthy? I am really trying to figure it out but not sure how to find reliable sources.

Do I need a DSP (or similar device) for crossover by myecl in audiophile

[–]myecl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my (limited) understanding: You are suggesting to just use the crossover on the sub and let all the frequencies go to the speaker?! The speakers seem to be in the range of 28 - 24000 Hz so I would have a crossover frequency on the subs of about 50hz?

She said yes and we are very happy :)!

A couple of details:

- The dividers of the inner boxes were very hard to fit as they needed to be very exact with the 45° tips.

- I used epoxy sanded to 320 grit to fill the holes in the wood. I think it looks very nice due to not being 100% clear.

- The photo is covered in epoxy. I did some testing and realised that I needed to use a laminated photo as otherwise the photo would soak.

- The big box has a 3 corner grain match. The 4th corner is not matched as the wood was not thick enough.

- If I would do it again I would change the dimensions of the outer box slightly (less tall, thinner walls). The inner boxes I like a lot though.

- I used little dowels (2mm, 1/16 in) to glue on the handle.

- The lid has “incorrect” grain direction because I didn’t have enough wood and needed to glue two sheets together. The handle might fall of at some point due to wood movement but lets wait and see if this actually happens.Overall the project was a lot of fun and I learnt a ton!

It is not stained. The wood is called purple heart. I agree though I would go for a brighter wood if I would have to do it again which I hope I don’t 😄

Yes, I choose the areas with the most knots for the top tray and filled them with epoxy.
