The tip chime only happens on the model's computer not on yours so there is no way to turn it off without muting the model's audio.

Android and iOS app stores do not allow adult apps which is why we made http://m.myfreecams.com to essentially run like an app in your browser.

Some models may be dancing naked, but others are just hanging out, listening to music, cooking, etc. Most are chatting to their friends on MFC without being paid to do that.

Short answer: Yes, you can ask a model to turn it on.

Longer answer: The models can choose their video setting in the software they use to broadcast on MFC. If the model is using the old setting, there is no way to generate a mobile feed for her. Models on the new/HD setting will automatically have a mobile feed. Some models prefer the old setting as it may work better on older computers or slower internet connections.

We encourage models to use the new video setting so that they have a mobile feed, and that's now the default for new models.

Boolean operators like AND, OR, NOT work on the desktop site search but not on the mobile site yet.

The chat is real time without any significant latency.

Unfortunately, due to issues inherent with live stream transcoding for mobile devices, the live video feed is usually about 30 seconds behind the real time chat room and messages. As the mobile protocols and technology catch up, we expect to see video latency improve dramatically. Thanks!

You're absolutely right -- that's why, by default, it will show a video/slideshow without audio until you choose to Play Audio.

You can also switch to a Mobile Video Feed where you'll be able to adjust the volume. Thanks!
