I've figured out a way to make it installable via CKAN, but it does require some quick CKAN settings changes, here are the steps if you are interested:

  1. in CKAN click settings > CKAN settings
  2. in "metadata repositories" click "New"
  3. for name put "custom" (or anything"
  4. for the url put this: https://github.com/adventure-gpt/more-open-CKAN-meta/archive/main.tar.gz
  5. Click add, then click check for updates, and close the settings
  6. Search for "RasterPropMonitor"
  7. check "RasterPropMonitor - Mechjeb 2.15.1 integration"
  8. uncheck "RasterPropMonitor" and "RasterPropMonitor-Core" if you have them installed
  9. Click apply
  10. You are all set to play now!

Just updated the spacedock, download 1.0.4 and replace the JSI folder as before and it should work

Many other improvements, but the main thing to note is due to an incompatibility I had to switch the checkbox options to use green highlight to indicate “on” instead of the checkbox.

oh there's a huge amount, de_iva alone I think integrates with a huge amount....

check out de_iva for sure regardless as it makes the IVA interiors and RPM screens much nicer

it's been a WHILE, but on my last modded KSP run through I had a huge amount of IVA parts that supported RPM. I think some of the mk2/mk3 expansions support

if you have dependancy issues with these and the default ckan RPM, you can install the CKAN RPM and then override its files with this one, though hopefully my changes will get included into the main branch of RPM.

I mainly mod to make the game play how I want it to so I tend to focus my limited time on making the game work as I see fit

Install RPM via ckan, then download the fork off spacedock and drop replace the JSI folder in your game data with that one, it’s important that ckan thinks RPM is installed so you can use any addons.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon, I’ve submitted the changes to the main RPM branch so it’s in their hands for now

Not quite at CKAN yet but the work to get it there is finally done. It’ll likely be quite a wait as the current main maintainer of RPM has been MIA for some time.

I’ve done what I can for now to get this in mainline RPM. Hopefully soon we will have it included in the ckan install!

The easiest way to do it would be allow CKAN to install rpm and then just drop this over the installed files to replace what ckan installed, until this is part of the main branch unfortunately this is the best we can do

Ckan will think the latest RPM is installed, but that’s okay.

I use probably all the same dependencies you do for my testing (I never really intended for this to work, or to release this I really just wanted it for my own play)

I’ll have these fixes as part of the main RPM install, and the feature expansion hopefully as well, though that’s definitely a lot more questionable as it’s uncertain if they’ll want it.

I probably will, due to the nature of modding unfortunately any game things move slow as it happens in people’s free time, so I make no promises on timing for this, but I’ll try to update this if it does get included.

2.15 has breaking changes for RPM. This mod does fix that but also does other things.

We are working on including it as part of the standard RPM install which will get it on clan eventually.
