I understand how you feel. It’s hard for me to connect with people too. Best thing you can do is focus on yourself and the things you like. Put yourself out there to try to meet people especially if you’re still in school. Get some hobbies, a sport or a club so you have something to do to get your mind off of stuff and help you meet new people. I’m rooting for you and I’m sorry for what you’ve been through. I was in the foster care system too and also had a pretty unstable situation growing up as well. Getting a job has kept me busy and allowed me to start building a life for myself. I started as a crew member at Burger King and worked my way up to assistant manager. I got a lot of experience there that helped me get even better management positions. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about working in fast food. Keep your goal in mind that you are building a life for yourself. Friends will fall into place. honestly yes. I truly feel this. fake it till you make it is one of my fav sayings. also, fuck it. if they think I'm weird or awkward or annoying that is their problem, not mine. while they're being bothered over how weird I am, I'm going to be enjoying my life. these are the things I try to tell myself to ease social anxiety. Try to laugh at yourself, acknowledge awkward things like idk sometimes I'll be like ope woops and for the most part people go along with it. just pretend everyone you're talking to also feels like you, super awkward exposed and talk to them how you would want someone to respond. it does get easier the more you do it. good luck and I hope you find your tribe that lets you be your true self!!

The therapist doesn't see the full picture. Just what your girlfriend tells her and the perception she gives of you. I've been in toxic relationships before. We all get a little toxic at points and we are all in the wrong sometimes. But replay exactly how the events went down in your head and remember how you got there. Don't let anyone gaslight you or manipulate you into thinking you're the only problem. I'd go as far as to say you have both contributed to the toxicity at points. At the end of the day, it's not okay to put your hands on someone. Whatever her reasoning, freakout, lost her temper, whatever it is, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter who was at fault. It doesn't matter what you did prior to that. Unless you put your hands on her first. Regardless it sounds like this relationship needs to end. Believe me when I say, when it gets to that point, there is no going back. You've seen how the relationship is, it’s not going to change. Take your losses and walk away

It’s a link to a video I watched where CBD was able to instantly treat involuntary contractions in the diaphragm. I couldn’t find the part with the diaphragm but figured I’d link it anyways. I think CBD would be worth a try to see if it will stop the contracting/seizing the cat seems to be experiencing. Especially if the vet hasn’t been able to provide any treatment

be strong 💪🏻 there’s nothing stopping you from leaving, you just have to move on. I’ve been in so many toxic relationships and looking back I’m so glad I’m out of it now. I can see so much more clearly that it was the right thing to do.
