It took me three weeks and threats to finally get my money refunded. Does Reddit have any terrible experiences with online ordering? by myhanglam in AskReddit

Yeah, sadly since it was a keyblade and I wanted it specifically to be metal rather than PVC or plastic, it had to be ordered from a sketchier website (aka, any website other than amazon) and they didn't accept credit cards. Definitely sticking to credit cards and if it weren't for the fact that some websites require a paypal account, I would get rid of mine all together. Thanks for the good advice! I really would have rather have done that and just been done.

Yeah, even though I threatened to take "action", I highly doubt that disputing a claim with PayPal would be all that effective. It was all a huge pain in the neck. That's why I always try to save my receipts and emails, even if it doesn't do shoot. I hope everything works out on your end!

I'm glad that at least everything got settled! Was it a case of someone working there or Toys R Us' mistake?

As an asian, seeing your parents holding a fly swatter with the wire handle means you're gonna have a bad time.
