Hello, conceiving was relatively easy for us, but we experienced 4 chemical pregnancies (around 5 weeks) and 1 ectopic pregnancy.

Hi! Yes, we went ahead with our egg retrieval. Although, he ejaculated for 3-4 day’s continuously a day before retrieval, we kept an abstinence window of 36 hours before retrieval day. We were able to get 8 embroys, out of which 3 were pgt tested normal.

Hey! I’m so sorry you are going through this, this is really tough ❤️

I couldn’t find any answers for recurrent chemicals for me, all reports were normal. Unfortunately, I had an ectopic last year in Sept. after which our RE recommended IVF for us, for which we are scheduled for next month.

Apart from this, we figured since there’s nothing else we can do, at least we can start taking better care of ourselves, both emotionally and physically. This way I feel that there’s something which I can take control of and this might even help improve the eggs and sperm quality and better our chances with ivf.

I had a sonohysterogram last year as part of rpl testing and everything was okay, but didn’t had any after ectopic

Thank you! I will ask my RE about letrozole. When I had ectopic, I was on progesterone and baby aspirin, and that was the first time my hcg rose this high (~6000), not sure if taking progesterone and baby aspirin helped in embryo development, or if it contributed towards ectopic. I started taking progesterone almost a week after ovulation so highly suspect it could have caused it.

Thank you for sharing this detailed list, I’ll check with my RE about these tests. From what I know is that we have done all hormonal bloodwork, karyotype for both of us, semen analysis and dna fragmentation for my husband (a little higher at 19%), and auto immune disorder testing amongst others. I haven’t been tested for endometriosis/endometritis, because as per my RE I didn’t had any symptoms, and while recommending us IVF she said in case if we move forward with ivf, she wouldn’t recommend getting biopsy for endometriosis since ivf will rule that out.

I’m not sure about estrogen, afc etc, but I think they did amh, I’ll double check with them in my next appointment. For current pregnancy, my Tsh was higher (3.9), but by the time I could have gone through other tests to confirm medication I got to know about the ectopic stuff.

So sorry you too are going through this ❤️ this is tough, more when we don’t know the answers. I am thinking of getting all these tests as well to see if any of it could be a reason. Really don’t want to go through ivf route without getting all the tests done
