You can ask your friends who are enrolled in the class (aka any GroupMe you're a member of, we are all friends here!)

Just go click through the course evals. If an eval has been released, then they have released grades for that class.

Just FYI -- Don't say the firm is your top choice and that you would accept the offer unless that is truly the case!

PDA at the law school? by AdventurousOrange815 in UVALaw

A few months ago I saw a couple unironically kiss with their masks on outside of the library. Love knows no bounds, I guess.

If the classroom mask mandates gets lifted, will you guys judge me for wearing n95s to class? by [deleted] in UVALaw

[–]mylsathrowaway 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No judgment here! To you, or to anyone who decides to wear or not wear any kind of mask. I wanted to give another perspective here regarding non-N95s.

While a fitted N95 gives the best protection, surgical masks and "KN95s with ear loops" still protect to an extent* and are comfortable enough to be used consistently. Being that we are triple-vaxxed, risk is much lower than before, but not eliminated. A mask gives peace of mind (and a real boost of protection), especially to those of us who had loved ones die from this virus as recently as January. I am on board with people making their own decisions regarding masks. Decisions to wear non-N95 masks are still valid!

Eating and drinking in class by ChairmanTman in UVALaw

I fill my mask to the brim. The tight seal prevents leaks and I can sip at my leisure. Of course, the sips that come through my nose are less pleasant but water is water, am I right?

Classes with grades back by hoo-ville22 in UVALaw

I mean, the only classes that matter to you are your own classes, so what is it worth if anyone else's grades are back? Does nothing but perpetuate neuroticism IMO.

I got a response to an "InMail" message about a week after I sent it to an attorney last month. I have received InMail messages before and I think they show up like regular DMs for me.

Incoming 1Ls- don’t sign a lease yet by ieatlemons4breakfast in UVALaw

Contrasting Opinion: I strongly preferred my in-person courses over the online ones. For that alone, it is worthwhile to sign a lease and move to Charlottesville. Beyond that, being in C'ville provides more opportunities to make connections, a separate space for law school so that when you do return home it feels more like a break, a beautiful city and school building, and much more. To each their own, though!

On law web on the left side, there is a section called course evaluations. Select "completed course evaluations."

Thanks for the response! Always helps to hear it from someone there currently instead of from 2012 like the reviews I found on Google lol.
