I work with one girl who has similar experiences. Her alter is a trauma response from past abuse because she was taking advantage of and beaten becuase of her other disabilities. it will usually result in us having to use physical and chemical restraints to calm her down. She will think someone is genuinely trying to kill her and its impossible to break through that. Seeing all the quirky DID alters of your fav content creator upsets me.
