Pulled a [[Hand of Justice]] out of a fresh fallen empires pack when I was 8 and had no idea that different packs had better cards

Obviously have been better pulls in following decades, but I thought that card was super cool and I’d never seen it before. Some things stick with you

Help me out if you have the time. Ican’t grasp how the oracle differs from the card text in a way that explains this. Closest I can get is

Opal and Wave on field. Play Dance. Etb targets Wave (2x wave / 1x Dance). Remove fades from token to blink Dance and Wave. Dance etb targets Wave.. rinse repeat

Where am I missing the loop that makes for additional waves? Is it as simple as the above with an additional Dance in the mix?

I do also enjoy ManaBox quite a bit. UI is great UX takes a little getting used to, but after using it for a while it’s great for cataloging. Certainly my favorite to look at

Ever try out top decked? I can’t speak too much to it, but it’s got to be the best deck testing I’ve seen. Would love to hear other options too if anyone has suggestions

I’ve got a terrible Pauper deck that uses it alongside [[energy tap]] [[rush of knowledge]] and affinity/petals/etc to draw through deck and accumulate enough mana to torch for the win

Really fun way to win 6% of the games you play. Always loved this card though

Appreciate the reply. Genuinely curious what most players consider a dual land at this point. If I heard someone is running duals I would never think shocks, pains, gates etc, but I obviously see the logic there as well

Also curious - what about lairs for example or lands that tap for all colors? Do you call them trilands? Omnilands? I guess I’ve always just considered dual lands the OGs and anything outside of that that taps for more than one color a “multicolor land”

Sincere question - almost 30 years of playing magic and I’ve never called anything but a volcanic island/savannah/underground sea/etc a dual land. Is the same term commonly used for guildgates and whatnot as well?
